NYSA Summer Art Camps focus on exploring each student’s creative imagination. Students will create and express their ideas into an art piece while building on their art skills. Throughout the camp, all students will experience a variety of fun fine arts subjects, craft, mix media and so on.

Explore a range of drawing materials and fundamentals of the medium of paint to develop creative compositions using design principles of line, form, color, texture and space.
An exploration of contemporary three-dimensional and mixed-media practices between form, material, space and content.
Design T-shirts using different methods, such as painting, printing, gluing, stencil, etc.
An exploration of learning opportunities from counting, sorting, differentiating shapes, colors and textures to honing motor skills and encouraging creativity.
Experience the art of casting a mold from a part of the body in plaster and coloring or decorating with pen, paints, crayons, etc.
Learn how to tie-dye fabric, paint yarns and make a fabric assemblage or collage.
An exploration of a variety of printmaking processes, including intaglio, relief, color reduction printing and mono-printing. Students focus on techniques and materials and their relationship to the printed image and visual concepts.
Experiment with cooking and baking for a unique opportunity to develop students’ creativity.
An exploration of creative collage art projects with a variety of materials, such as paper, tissue paper, fabric, watercolor painting, etc.
Discover the art of film-making and act in front of the camera. Students will learn the basics of film-making such as story-boarding, directing, camera operation, audio, lighting and production.
Encourage closer view and whole new ways of looking at things through the camera lens. Students will produce photographic works with unique printing techniques, mixed media and different technology tools
