Best Art Program for Creative Thinking and Imagination!
Age 9-13
This Fashion & Sewing Camp will teach students the basic sewing terminology, how to use a sewing machine with supervision and the basic hand and machine stitches in order to construct some exciting, age appropriate projects that they can take home and cherish.
The camp will consist of fashion forward projects allowing the students to use their own creativity by choosing from a variety of fabrics and materials in order to personalize their designs.
Students will learn:

Basic fundamentals of the sewing machine

Basic embroidery stitches

Hand sewing: running stitch, backstitch and slip stitch

How to sew a button

Pattern placement

How to safely use the iron, pins and scissors
